Scientific Method, by Paul Tran

Today's poem is Scientific Method by Paul Tran and was featured recently in a Poetry Magazine podcast, since it was published in the April 2018 issue of the magazine.

"Love, like me, is a beast no master can maim,

no dungeon can discipline. Love is at once master

and dungeon. So don’t underestimate me."

About the author:  Paul Tran is the poetry editor for The Offing magaine and a Pushcart Prize-nominated poet and historian. Their work appears in Prairie Schooner, The Cortland Review, RHINO, which gave them an Editor's Prize, and elsewhere.
